Why do I need to sign up to use GreenShoe?

We save a profile of every user of GreenShoe, this allows us to customize the information we send to you and save you the headaches of sorting and filtering the information.
The profile is confidential and secured by GreenShoe servers.

What happens if I forgot my password?

If for some reason you cannot remember your password, no worries, on the bottom of the login page, click “Forgot password”. for security reasons you’ll need to supply your email address, the one you’ve signed up with to GreenShoe, once you click Submit, we’ll send you an email with directions how to reset your password.

In the Offering page, What is the difference between “For me” and “Starred”?

When you enter the offering page, you get to see all available securities, covered by GreenShoe, you can filter it in two ways, click the “For me” tab, and then you will see only securities that comply with your profile settings as you defined it in the Settings area. on the left side of each security you can see a star, click on the star, makes it fill out and become a Starred security, on the Starred tab, you’ll see only securities which you have starred.

How do I change the Language on the application?

Currently GreenShoe supports English and Hebrew, so can switch between the two by going to Settings / Preferences.

How do I control the type of notifications I get?

GreenShoe is built to tailor the set of notifications that suite your investment policy, in the setting page you will find a whole set of configurations that describe the type of securities that you are interested in, once set, the system will send you only securities that comply with your profile.

What happens when I submit a “Buy” command in the application?

The Buy command is delivered directly to your broker, as you defined it within the Buy screen, and the broker will get back to you ASAP in order to commit the offer.
At this point GreenShoe doesn’t offer a direct buy of securities.

In the security page, What is similar?

Similar shows you other securities close to the type of security you are looking at in order to see what else exists in the market and give you a better perspective. You can expand and narrow the similarity range using the +/- buttons on the right hand side.
